The Problem

You already know
something is wrong.

Most interpersonal suffering comes from two sources that almost no one addresses together: misreading the people around you, and the mental habit of worry. They feed each other.

You misread a situation — a look, a silence, a shift in tone — and your mind fills the gap with fear. Then the worry begins. You replay the interaction. You project catastrophe. You lose sleep over something that may never have been real.

Most books address one or the other. Clear Eyes, Clear Mind addresses both — because they're the same problem.

Replaying conversations at 2am

Something felt off. You don't know what. You replay it until it becomes a certainty you invented.

Can't tell if they're angry or just tired

You read faces, tone, posture — but you're guessing. And the uncertainty is worse than knowing.

Worrying about things that never come

You spend energy on futures that statistically will not happen. Your brain doesn't care about statistics.

Misinterpreting people you care about

The most damage happens in the relationships that matter most, with the people whose signals are hardest to read.

Two skills.
One unified system.

01
Read People Accurately

A precise framework for decoding nonverbal cues, microexpressions, body orientation, and the subtle signals that reveal what someone actually feels — not what they say.

02
Stop the Worry Spiral

The Worry Formula — a 3-step analytical tool that dismantles fear by separating what is real from what your mind invented. Used in the moment, every time.

03
Social Intelligence Patterns

Understand personality, motivation, and intention before a person says a single word. The patterns that most people take decades to learn — compressed and made explicit.

04
Practical Exercises

Not theory for its own sake. Every concept comes with something you can test in your next conversation, today. The book is built to be used, not just read.

Inside the Book

66 pages.
Every one earns its place.

No padding, no repetition, no extended metaphors that go nowhere. This is a working manual.

I
The Foundation: Why We Misread and Worry
The neuroscience of threat detection and why your brain confuses social uncertainty with physical danger.

Baseline behavior, deviation, and the cluster principle — why a single gesture means nothing and context means everything.
III
Reading the Face
Microexpressions, emotional leakage, and the 7 universal signals that appear regardless of culture, language, or intention.
IV
The Worry Formula
A 3-step analytical framework: define the worst case, prepare to accept it, then direct full attention toward improving from there.
V
Social Intelligence in Relationships
Applying perceptual clarity to the people closest to you — where misreading causes the most damage and accuracy matters most.
VI
The Integration: Using Both Systems Together
How reading people accurately and managing worry reinforce each other — the combined practice that makes both permanent.
Fausto Aldaba Ruiz
Author · Researcher · Clear Eyes Publishing

For five years, Fausto lived with a specific kind of mental noise most people never name: the constant, low-grade hum of unresolved worry. The pandemic hit every part of his life simultaneously — professional direction, personal confidence, a sense of forward motion. Questions piled up unanswered. Am I good enough at this? Will there even be opportunity left? Am I in the right place? They never stayed buried. Like cockroaches, they'd go quiet during the day and multiply at night.

The burnout that followed wasn't dramatic. It was slow and total. He was exhausted from misreading situations he couldn't decode, from fighting thoughts he couldn't organize, from trying everything and still feeling like he was failing at all of it. At his worst, he felt the weight of a one-way ticket — the kind of darkness that masquerades as relief.

What pulled him through wasn't one book or one answer. It was a pattern he kept finding across every book that helped him: the people with his same spirals were making two mistakes simultaneously — misreading what the people around them actually meant, and treating uncertain futures as settled facts. Address both of those at the same time, and something fundamental shifts.

Clear Eyes, Clear Mind is his attempt to compress five years of that discovery into 66 pages. Not theory for its own sake. The actual framework that cleared his head — offered to anyone who recognizes the noise.
